Today the garden lies under a layer of mulch and snow. The mulch is gradually broken down and adding organic matter to the soil. The snow is adding precious moisture to the soil. The fruit trees are still dormant but will be coming to life in just a few weeks.
While the garden slowly emerges from winter, I’m making plans for spring planting, and getting myself registered with area farmer’s markets. I also established an LLC today to represent the farm business.
